Lynn Moseley

Co-Founder, CEO and Lead Facilitator
MBA (Leadership and Management Consulting)

Lynn Moseley's journey reflects the transformative power of conscious leadership, vulnerability, and connection. With over three decades in the corporate sector, Lynn's path may seem an unexpected bridge to leadership development, yet beneath it all lies a profound understanding of the human need for authenticity, collaboration, and belonging. Lynn’s deep connection with horses began early in life, but it was during her time volunteering at a therapeutic riding center that she rediscovered the profound impact of equine therapy. Witnessing the powerful bonds between horses and individuals facing personal and professional challenges, she felt called to integrate this healing potential into leadership and team-building. She recognized that the lessons learned from horses—presence, trust, and non-verbal communication—are exactly what today’s corporate teams need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Lynn envisioned River Haven Farm not just as a place of healing, but as a leadership development space where corporate teams and management groups can explore vulnerability, embrace authentic communication, and build trust under the guidance of equine partners. Her mission is to create an environment where leadership and personal growth flourish, empowering individuals to lead with empathy, clarity, and resilience. At the heart of Lynn's work is a commitment to fostering conscious leadership and interconnectedness. Through her workshops, she invites corporate teams to discover their collective strength, reminding them that in vulnerability lies the foundation for strong, cohesive teams. Lynn's vision is to inspire a shift in the way leadership is understood and practiced, creating a ripple effect of emotional intelligence, collaboration, and trust that extends beyond the individual to the corporate world and beyond.

From a young age, Janette has been a devoted horse mom and has witnessed the power of horses to heal, increase confidence, and regulate people’s emotions. Erin Jacob

Yoga Therapist
C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP

Erin Jacob has been studying yoga for over 15 years, and founded Centered Within Yoga in 2010. She found her yogic path after sustaining complex and debilitating injuries. She had lost the use of her arm, with a leg that was following the same path. She was suffering from multiple organ issues and failures. After years of chronic pain and being told that a life surgery, wheelchair confinement, and medication were her best options, Erin began her search to find a better future for her health, eventually finding therapeutic yoga, and with it, she discovered the capacity to heal despite the gloomy prognosis. This amazing recovery inspired her to seek out training near and far to help her learn how to share these healing gifts with others in need. Erin is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) under the International Association of Yoga Therapists and is additionally registered under the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500 and YACEP (Approved Provider of Continuing Education for yoga teachers). She is a Trauma-Informed teacher with over 2000 hours of therapeutic training and over 23000 documented hours of teaching experience. Throughout her teaching career she has helped thousands of students with a wide range of injuries and conditions learn to manage and restore their health and mobility. Nicole Von Chorus

Registered Clinical Counsellor,

ERYT 200, M Ed. (Counselling Psychology)

Nicole received her yoga teacher training in 2015 after realizing how valuable yoga was in helping with people’s emotional and mental health. She has been a mental health counsellor for over 14 years, mostly helping at risk youth and families who suffer from different types of mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, etc. She first came across yoga when she witnessed it being used for people with trauma and began to see how valuable using the body was in conjunction with therapy. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Karma Teachers, a by-donation yoga studio in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver. This studio emphasized training their teachers to use yoga for people with trauma, addictions, and people in need of connection and community. Personally, she also found yoga as a great anchor for both fitness and mindfulness, especially after she was in a car accident resulting in a chronic neck injury that complicated her path to healing and dealing with grief and loss. What she has come to realize is that no matter what challenges life brings, there is healing and peace in understanding how to use our minds and body to move forward. With a background in Vinyasa, you can expect Nicole's hatha classes to be a combination of strength, movement and fun, with physical and emotional safety for all levels, and an element of curiosity for our mental processes. In her therapeutic classes, there is an emphasis on how to use yoga and mindfulness to help create emotional and mental well-being while creating more resilience and self compassion in dealing with challenging times. Nicole has completed training in various mental health/yoga programs: Therapeutic yoga for trauma, resilience, and emotional well-being Y12SR for addictions – yoga of 12 step recovery Applied polyvagal theory in yoga Mindful self compassion In her spare time she likes hiking, rock climbing, and is an all around nature lover who loves animals, family and good food.

Kristin Griffin

Certified Education Assistant
BA (Psychology)

Horses have always held a special place in Kristin’s life. During her childhood summers, she reveled in the timeless allure of her aunt’s farm, where moments were painted with the presence of these majestic creatures. Amidst barn chores and swinging on a rope to the hay bales below, the sight of horses grazing in the fields became a serene backdrop to Kristin's formative years. As she journeyed into adulthood, the pull of the equestrian world grew stronger. From barn assistant to therapeutic riding volunteer, each step immersed her deeper into the realm of the equine. The barn became more than just a physical space; it became a sanctuary where she could shed the weight of teenage woes and simply embrace the present moment. Through trials and triumphs, the barn remained a steadfast anchor, offering solace and connection amidst life's high’s and lows. She discovered the transformative power of spending time with horses, a simple yet profound remedy for the soul. With an innate calling to help others, Kristin found herself drawn to the field of psychology. As an Education Assistant and soon-to-be Psychology graduate, her aspiration to walk alongside individuals on their journeys of growth and healing became a guiding force. Witnessing firsthand the remarkable synergy between horses - a paradox between power and vulnerability - and human well-being only deepened Kristin's resolve. In the world of equine-assisted therapy, she found a convergence of passion, experience, and purpose. Now, at River Haven Farm, Kristin's aspirations align with those of the farm, poised to contribute to the transformative journey of others, one hoofbeat at a time.
